XDeep Open Ended SMB 130cm

The XDeep Open Ended SMB 130cm consists of a long, durable tube open at one end for easy use. You can quickly inflate this buoy using a second-stage regulator, exhaled bubbles, or other air sources. 

Because of its open design, the buoy does not require a pressure relief valve. Instead, expanding air simply exits through the bottom as the device ascends to the surface. However, you must maintain steady tension on the line to keep the buoy upright.

Maintaining tension prevents air from escaping through the open end during your ascent. This surface marker buoy features high-quality 3M Scotchlite reflective tape for maximum safety. This specialised tape carries an official SOLAS maritime visibility certificate, ensuring you remain visible in low-light conditions. 

Furthermore, the bright fabric and reflective strip help boat crews spot you from long distances. This makes the XDeep SMB an essential tool for ocean diving.

A clear plastic tube is fitted to the side of the buoy for extra utility. This pocket provides a secure place for chemical glow sticks or small waterproof notes.
