XL4+ First Stage

A breakthrough, over-moulded endcap and environmental diaphragm are included. These features prevent ice build-up. They also protect the Apeks XL4+ First Stage from impact. Additionally, the large surface area heat exchanger diaphragm clamp increases gas temperature. This improves cold water performance. Moreover, the unique, over-balanced diaphragm design enhances performance at depth. It allows the medium pressure gas to increase faster than ambient pressure.

This first stage offers 2 HP ports and 4 MP ports. It is environmentally sealed. The over-balanced diaphragm design and DIN fitting are standard.

XL4+ Second Stage

The Apeks XL4+ second stage is compact and lightweight. Its design minimises jaw fatigue during long dives. The Comfobite mouthpiece has a unique bridge. It fits across the upper palate and requires minimal bite pressure. The re-useable mouthpiece clip simplifies field mouthpiece changes.
