Apeks XL4 Ocea Regulator is eco-friendly

Several sustainable materials comprise Apeks XL4 Ocea Regulator. Recycled polymers, up to 70% post-consumer waste, form the black components. Bioplastic parts derive from non-petroleum sources. Trivalent chrome plating uses fewer harmful chemicals. Eco brass is lead-free, more recyclable, and stronger than traditional brass.

Environmentally sealed first stage

The environmentally sealed first stage consequently prevents freezing. Furthermore, an environmentally sealed dry chamber stops water contact with the spring. Apeks XL4 Ocea’s first stages, moreover, are over-balanced for maximum performance at depth. Therefore, this results in superior deep-water function.

Additionally, the compact machined first stage builds on the proven Apeks DS4 platform. Lead-free brass, similarly, reduces the regulator's footprint. Also, trivalent chrome plating uses less energy. Finally, the first stage includes two HP ports and four MP ports.

Compact and lightweight second stage

The Apeks XL4 Ocea second stage is compact and lightweight. Consequently, this improves comfort and reduces jaw fatigue. Furthermore, the Venturi lever prevents accidental free flows. Additionally, the patented Apeks Comfobite mouthpiece reduces jaw fatigue. Its unique bridge, moreover, fits across the palate without bite pressure.
