The cold water rated Apeks MTX-RC first stage features an over-balanced diaphragm. As you descend, this diaphragm increases medium pressure faster than ambient pressure. Consequently, this provides superior performance at depth.
Furthermore, the over-moulded endcap and environmental diaphragm, combined with the forged 1st stage body, offer maximum thermal performance. Additionally, the forged rotating turret has parallel medium pressure ports. This, in turn, improves hose orientation. Finally, angled HP ports optimise hose routing and transmitter fitting.
Moreover, Apeks MTX-RC First Stage is suitable for cold water use (below 10°C / 50°F). In addition, the 5th 3/8â UNF medium pressure port has a protective bumper. Similarly, the forged first stage body includes heat exchanging ribs. These ribs, therefore, maximise thermal performance. Also, the ribbed diaphragm clamp improves heat exchange in cold water.
